Everybody knows Red Card (Dismissal) and Yellow Card (Warning) for soccer games. But have you ever heard of Green Card?
In U-12 (under age 12) soccer games in Japan, Green card is passively used to promote the understanding of fair playing spirit. In Japan Football Association (JFA) homepage, green card is defined as:
- Act of good action. Keep up the good action.
- Positive action confirmed.
- Positive way of education.
- Admit, appreciate, and encourage.
- Good example to others.
- Fans and officials appreciate your action.
To think of soccer from an educational standpoint,
unlike Red and Yellow card, which represents a negative reaction to something not to be done, Green card's purpose is to give a message and show respect to a positive action, which will help children grow and raise the children's spirit.
This App will support fathers- referee enjoying soccer with their kids.
Take out our iPhone (or iPod Touch) and shake, shake, shake!
